There are those tracks that you wish you made because they just stretch the boundaries of a genre of music that you like but in almost any environment. This is laid back feel good dance pop at it's best. It's also just funky as fuck, Love the roller skate video. 

What a crazy night that was, first we got a great video recap of the show at terminal 5 that shows bits and pieces of the craziness. Stay tuned because this friday Part 3 of the Dubset recap video features my entire day leading up to, as well as my entire set at Terminal 5 including some remixes of mine you may or may not have heard before. 17 year old french producer Madeon just posted a video of what he called "a little live idea" on twitter. Needless to say, i think we are all speechless. In the video, he skillfully chops 39 pop songs together to create something new. I'm most impressed by the rhythmic aspect of the mix; its so incredibly funky - while he still maintaing a real song structure, chord progression, and catchy melody. This isn't exactly a mashup, or a remix, so what would you call this? 

On july 9th i had the pleasure of performing at terminal 5 in New York. There was something like 3000 people in the crowd and I can honestly say it was one of the best shows i've ever done. The new Bingo Players single “Cry (Just a Little) is a summer sliver of disco pop. It's super catchy and the vocal sticks in your head. You may recognize the sample from Brenda Russell’s 80′s tune “Piano in the Dark”. This track brings back memories of when I was a youngster and my parents would blast this track on the family road trips and we would all try our best to hit the notes just like Ms. Russell. A new one from the Junior Boys and it doesn't cease to amaze. 9 minutes of funky goodness and a perfect piece of electro-pop. It treally reminds me of how incredible their arrangements are. All the instrumentation and changes keep the track really interesting all the way through. Reminds me of New Order, Cut Copy, Uplifting vibes all around. Met Tyson out in London recently at a dinner with his label managers, he's signed to Backyard records with the likes of The Rapture and Chromeo. Very cool cat, and sounds almost like Billy Ocean and Rick James. The hook is infectious, and is a staple in my sets now. Check the video below and make sure to buy it !

Dillon Francis is currently annihilating the UK. We kicked it for a brief moment when we both decided to take it to the club in London with our buddy DJ Skeet Skeet.
